Special Address By Speaker on VAT Verdict by the Court on 23rd August

The verdict given by the court is being commented by politicians inside and outside Parliament. The court has decided as procedures had not been followed according to provisions of the constitution, they were unable to give a verdict on VAT as requested by the Parliament.

The Speaker is expected to clear the clouds that whether the VAT verdict  given by the court has infringed into the  rights and privileges of  Parliament or had any impact on Parliament. He is expected to make a statement on this matter on 23^rd August 2016.
