G.C. E. A/L Exam Four Invigilators Suspended

The Examinations Department found  four exam invigilators have neglected their  duties in Giriulla, Nuwara Eliya and Weliweriya Education zones.  They have been suspended with immediate effect said,  Commissioner General of Exams W. M. N. J. Pushpakumara.

He said nearly 50 complaints were reported with respect of the Advanced Level examination this year and only four major complains were among them.

Investigations are being carried out regarding all the minor complaints as well. Comparing to last year, the use of electronic equipment and cheating on exam incidents are very low due to strict rules and regulations, Pushpakumara said.
