VAT Amendment Bill Likely to be Taken up After Budget

Here after all the TAX  reforms  of the Government will be introduced in the budget . 2017 annual budget is likely to be presented to the Parliament on 10^th November 2016. Earlier it was decided to  present  VAT amendment bill in forth coming weeks . But the Ministers representing the Srilanka Freedom Party  have decided to propose a number of amendments to the bill. They have  demanded that the draft bill be shown to them before presenting it in Parliament .
