Recently Uduvil ladies college students demonstrated against the removal of principal, who is over 60 years. One faction insists, that as the principal has done good work and popular among the students , principal should be given further extension. But on the other hand another faction says, that the principal should retire and give opportunity to others to serve the school. In this connection Rev. Fathers and students met the Chief Minister and briefed him about the recent development in the school.
While this is the situation, one of the teacher’s house came under attack last night, It was reported. A complaint has been lodged with the Jaffna police, who carry out investigation.
