Higher Post to a Military Officer, who Supplied War Secrets to US

An Army Major, who was accused of supplying war secrets to America during the fight between LTTE and the Government forces has been given a highest post, Colombo press revealed.

America too confirmed this matter. All inquiries started against this Major has been put to the dustbin. Further, he has changed his name now. He said to have been a close relation of a southern province Politician. Foreign Ministry has not yet responded to this news item.
