Unfilled Sand Excavated Pit Took 2 Lives in Kochchikade

Land  excavated pits  are  unprotected   danger  spots  for  children . It so happened when  two children aged fourteen drowned and another one injured , while  they were bathing in a pit , which was abandoned after excavating sand in Udangawa in Kochchikade last evening (30).

 Two boys were pronounced dead on admission to the Negombo hospital,  while the inured was being treated at the Hospital. The postmortem is to be conducted today. Kochchikade police are investigating.
