Popular Singer Chillie Arrested

A popular  Singer Chillie ( Thilanka Vidusha ) was arrested by the Thalangama Police today  (11)  for the alleged assault of a 57-year-old man last Thursday (6).

It was alleged that the singer was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

Talangama Police said the singer who had surrendered this morning would be produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court today (11).
