120 Million Military Assistance to Srilanka By China

Defence Ministry Secretary along with heads of service personnel went to Beijing  to attend Asian Region Security Conference.

 Followed by this conference Defence Secretary Karunasena and  tri security  service heads had a discussion with the Chinese Counterparts.  In this discussion China offered 120 million Military assistances to Srilanka. In addition China  undertook to obtain  a ship to be utilized for coastal guard duties.

Further, they discussed about signing a joint security agreement.
