AG’s Advice Sought In Forgery Against Deputy Minister Manusha Nanayakkara

In August 2015, days before the general election, Nanayakkara allegedly displayed a false news item claiming it to be an article on ‘The Hindu’ during a TV debate in which Ajith P. Perera also took part. Deputy Minister Ajith P. Perera  complained to the IGP over displaying   a forged document violating   election law. The IGP forwarded the matter to the Fraud Investigations Bureau.

The Colombo Fraud Investigations Bureau informed the Fort Magistrate that they have sought the advice of the Attorney General in an investigation against Deputy Minister Manusha Nanayakkara  in this  connection.

Nanayakkara is now  part and partial  of the  Good  Governance Government .
