A Dead Body Discovered at Moratuwa University

A  dead body has been discovered under a mango tree within the premises of the University of Moratuwa.  University security had notified the police regarding the dead body this morning (29).

Preliminary inquiries have revealed that the deceased, who is not an employee of the university, had fallen to the ground after climbing the tree. He has been identified as a 43-year-old resident of Katubedda, Moratuwa.

Further investigations in connection with  the  incident are being carried out by the Moratuwa Police.
