Rajitha has Become a Manufacturer of Beedi and Cigar – Piyal Nishantha

MP of the Joint Opposition Piyal Nishantha has told a Colombo base Media that Rajitha is not suitable for the Health Ministry Portfolio. When there is tobacco products Beedi, Cigars and cigarettes, he has increased the price of Cigarettes only. By doing this he indirectly encouraging and promoting beedi and cigars. Why can’t he increase the price of Beedi and Cigar too?

If he is really interested in improving the health of the public by increasing cigarette prices, he should have increased prices of beedi and cigars.  But he has not done it.
