A Token Strike by Three Health Sectors

The Combined Para Medical Services Front  said that  they will struck work  from this morning. Public Health Inspectors, Public Health Laboratory Technicians and Entomologists island-wide have decided to launch a token strike beginning at seven this morning till seven tomorrow morning.

The aim of this token strike was to protest against the Health Ministry’s inclusion of technological aspects pertaining to the PHIs’ and Entomologists’ Technological Training Diploma into the Training Diploma of Public Health Inspector’s Assistant Officers.

Nearly 3500 persons are involved in the strike.
