Anura Kumara Dissanayake expressed some interesting thoughts at a rally held in Hanuwara. The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) leader stated that the parliament was in need of change and was unable to function in its current situation.
He further elaborated that since April 29th no Law, Act or Amendment had been passed in the Parliament’s inability to do so.
He further reprimanded the choice of August for elections reminding that AL examinations were also scheduled. He blamed this on the governments idling after passing the 19th Amendment.
