Axe on EPF Housing Loans ?

While Minister of Labour and Trade Unions Relations , W. D. J. Seneviratna   addressing the Parliament  on Budget  2^nd reading  on the third day said,  that  he was not aware of the removal  of  75 % housing loans granted  against  EPF  fund of the members. He  further  said, that 25 lakhs of members will get affected by this  decision and the Finance Ministry should clarify it.

However, though 75% housing loan facility has been withdrawn 30% loan  to build a house, to repair a house or by a land is still in forced, he concluded.
