Athuruliye Rathana thero expresses interest in how MR will compete

 

Former MP Ven. Aturuliye Rathana the Chairman of the National council of the Pivithuru Hetak stated that they have no plans of a competing in a coalition in the upcoming General Election. He further stated interest in how former President Mahinda Rajapakse will compete and stated that the Hela Urumaya will proceed alongside President Maithripala Sirisena’s vision.

The Venerable thero stated that he is unaware whether or not the Sri Lanka Freedom Party will give Mahinda Rajapakse nominations and that is a decision left in the hands of the leaders of the Party.
