Wasim Akram to Train Srilankan Fast Bowlers

Former Pakistan Fast Medium left hand Bowler Wasim Akram, who captained Pakistan in two World Cups and was the Man of the Match in the 1992 final when Imran Khan’s side beat England at the MCG, will conduct training sessions for fast bowlers apart from addressing the coaching staff of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).
Wasim Akram will arrive in Colombo later this month on a brief visit to help Sri Lanka’s fast bowlers. He is 50-year-old former left-arm quick was easily the best fast bowler of his generation.
He will be the Guest of Honour during next week’s Dialog Cricket Awards.
