Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Eastern, Uva and North-central provinces and in the Hambantota district.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00pm.

 Fairly heavy fall (50-75 mm) can be expected at some places in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in Galle district.

Fairly strong gusty winds (40-45 kmph) can be expected in Northern half of the island and in Hambantota district.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
