Facebook Death Threats to President Another Suspect Arrested
Another 26-year-old individual from Ratmalana, Dinusha Chameera, was arrested and produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate today for allegedly making death threats against President Maithripala Sirisena on Facebook.
He has allegedly made comments suggesting someone should shoot the President, the court was informed. The CID also said that they were still carrying out the investigations.
The Magistrate ordered the individual to be remanded till 15th December 2016.
