Tissamaharama-Matara Road Closed

The Tissamaharama-Matara main road has been blocked for traffic due to a protest currently being carried out at Mirijjawila. A group of residents are blocking the road at the Aluthpara Junction protesting against selling their lands to Chinese companies for investment.  Motorist are  advised to use alternative routs.
