New Constitution to be Passed Without Referendum

In the Meeting held at  Battaramulla  ‘’Sethsripaya’’  Minister S. B. Dissenayake said, that  new constitution or  constitutional reforms  will be passed without  calling for Referendum.
President Maithripala Siresena too wish  to pass  the new constitution without the Referendum.
 The new constitution will not alter the unitary state  status of the country  and the special foremost   position   given to the Buddhist religion in the constitution.  In addition,   it won’ t  include any federal proposal  to divide the country.
As from  Local Government Election,  in future all elections  will be conducted  in the mix electoral method .  Hence, the importance of 20th constitutional amendment  is  essential.
At the same time  several parties  and individuals have expressed their willingness  to join  the SLFP and  fight the Local Government Election.
 National Government   is a good  precedent to the  world . Although we are in the National Government  great victory for  SLFP  is  President wish.
 Super Ministers are in Singapore, China and Malaysia . Hence,  there is nothing wrong in appointing a super Minister  to implement  works without  any difficulties.
