Mahinda Blames Recovery of GSP+ to SL

In the eyes of  Former President Parliamentarian Mahinda Rajapaksa the recovery of the Generalised Scheme of Preferences Plus or GSP+ is seen  as  harm full to the country’s  culture.

MP Mahinda Rajapaksa made this statement speaking at a special conference organised by the National Freedom Front.

MP Rajapaksa said all conditions set out in order to obtain the GSP+ concession have been accepted by the present government.

He said having accepted all conditions the government is prepared to amend all draft bills as well.

MP Mahinda Rajapaksa charged the European Union is clearly giving the GSP+ facility.  But he reiterated that  the country was not affected without GSP+.
