Action Against Traders Who Disregard Imported Rice Price – MS

President Maithripala Sirisena has instructed officials to take action against traders,  who fail to fall in line with the new  prices of rice  informed by the Government .

The officials were advised during a special discussion held at the Presidential Secretariat under the leadership of President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Deputy Minister Asoka Abeysinghe said a special discussion is scheduled to be held today by the Cabinet of Ministers pertaining to the control price on rice.
