More Divisional Secretariats To Be Set Up

The Ministry of Home affairs while  laid  down the foundation stone to new building complex of the district Secretariat of Kalutara, said  that another 43 divisional secretariats will be set up to strengthen the local administrative system.

 According the number of divisional secretariats will be increased to 375 by 2020. Minister Vajira Abeywardena made these comments. New buildings will be constructed for 180 existing divisional secretariats of the country. The government expects to spend 400 billion rupees for the project.
