Isura Devapriya Warns Serious Consequences If Powers of PCs Taken…

Chief Minister of Western Province,  Isura Devapriya   held a press conference yesterday(15)  at his Ministry.  At this press conference he requested  to restore powers taken by the Urban Development Authority  from the Provincial Council .  He said that he came to know  that  this is an  act of   UDA officials   without the knowledge of the Minister.  Our statutory law is ready to activate  . Only we have to  get the approval of the PC.  I hope  the Minister will  take appropriate steps to restore  powers taken  from the PCs  by the UDA to avoid serious consequences.
