FM Managala to Address 34th Session of UN Human Rights Council in Genève

Minister of Foreign affairs, Managala Samaraweera will be addressing the Human Rights Council later today (28). Samaraweera will be discussing how the country has adhered to the framework that was put in place to uphold its human rights, as well as how the actions proposed by the human rights council have been executed in the country thus far.  He will further entertain the discussion of the reports submitted by the Governments reconciliation task force and the time required to carry out of the actions listed in the Geneva proposal.
