National Freedom front (NFF) Leader Wimal Weerawansa was charged for misusing 40 state vehicles causing 9 million loss to the state during his tenure as Minister of Housing is on bail now.
On application made by Wimal Weerawansa to grant permission to visit China as the Chief Guest of a Gem and Jewellery exhibition organized by the Srilanka China friendship association to be held between 14th and 30th September 2017 , the Colombo Magistrate has granted permission to undertake this visit.
