A UNP Minister is All Out to Purchase CSN TV Licence?

CSN television network was inaugurated by the sons of Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe during his tenure. This institution alleged to have involved in converting black money into white under money laundering. In addition there were irregularities in procuring equipment for the TV station.  Followed by the detection of money laundering and other irregularities, the broadcast licence issued to the CSN was subsequently cancelled by the Ministry of Media. CSN has challenged the cancellation in the court of law of Srilanka. The case is scheduled to be taken for inquiry today.

In the meantime, one of the popular UNP minister in the Good Governance have taken steps to negotiate with the administration   of CSN to purchase it. In this connection UNP minister had initial discussion with the CSN officials.
