SLFP May Day Rally Invitation to Party Representatives

State Minister for finance, Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena said yesterday that a  written invitation will be sent to all elected representatives of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) to participate in the Party’s May Day rally.

He said,  that it is mandatory for the SLFP elected representatives to attend the rally and that this decision was taken during the SLFP Central Committee meeting on Sunday.

We will take steps to send invitations to all SLFP elected representatives and the Central Committee will decide on the action that would be taken on those who opt to skip the May Day rally, he concluded.
