Favouritism is Stronger than Yahapalanaya

A popular politician from Kalutara has made a strong recommendation  to a leading political Authority to promote a favourite of his to a higher administrative  post in Kalutara.

During new year oil anointing ceremony,  Kalutara politico presented this appeal with his recommendation to the political authority.   He recommended  the person concerned as exceptionally  efficient officer in the public service. But on the  contrary his service record reveals that he is just mediocre type and facing allegation of sexual harassment made by several female employees.  A part from this there are better qualified seniors  awaiting  for the position. Adding fuel to fire politicos  man had collected a Commission in foreign exchange taking advantages of his involvement in organizing a Russian tour for a group of politicians at provincial level. Favouritism is strong than Yahapalanaya.
