Another Cabinet Decision Co-Spokesman Dayasiri Jeyasekera?

Conflict between Minister of Health cum Cabinet decision Co-spokesman Rajitha Senaratne has reached the peak level, which led a group  SLFP Ministers led by Minister of labour John Seneviratne represented matters to the President demanding removal of Rajitha from his Cabinet decision Co-Spokesman position. However, all SLFP Ministers agreed with the President there should one representing SLFP in announcing Cabinet decisions.This is toensure checks and balances.

Despite all developments Rajithsa Senaratne’s position as Cabinet decision Co-Spokesman is most secured said, sources closer to the President. Hence, instead of his removal, a proposal was made to appoint another Cabinet decision Co-Spokesman and the SLFP Ministers suggested Dayasiri Jeyasekera to be the most suitable for it.
