Landslide Warnings Still in Operation

The landslide warning issued by the National Building Research Organisation to seven districts Ratnapura, Kegalle, Galle, Kalutara, Matara, Hambantota and Nuwara Eliya.has been extended till this afternoon.

NBRO requested the public to evacuate if citizens notice trees slanting, cracks appearing on the land or if individuals see cracks appear on walls.

He noted the DMC has distributed approximately Rs 165 million  to district secretariats of areas affected by adverse weather for relief purposes.
