Student Drug Addicts Cut Their Hands at Medirigiriya Area in Polonnaruwa

A news item published in the media on Thursday (13) disclosed shocking news that 41 students of a school cut their hands after taking drugs.Police raided and rounded them up and took to the police station. Police was at a lose to

understand as to how they obtain this drug and identification of the drug. During the raid one of the students while got into police vehicle was seen throwing a small bag out.Police took notice of it and captured the bag and found balance drug. Hence, police was able to identify the drug now.

Investigation is being carried out under the direct supervision of Polonnaruwa Senior Superintendent of Police, Luckson Wijeratne to find out the key figure behind this incident.
