Final Attempt to Combine Mahinda and Maithree?

A meeting scheduled to be held today at the residence of Minister John Seneviratne with the Senior SLFP Ministers and Party men to bring reconciliation between Mahinda Rajapakshe and Maithreepala Sirisena.

 Earlier too MP Kumara Welgama too attempted to bring reconciliation between them but failed.

It is relevant to mention that a section of the SLFP Party members wanted the SLFP to leave the Government.
