Number of Years  A Student Spend in School to be Reduced

The National Education Commission  has  put forward a proposal to reduce the number of years a student has to spend in school.

Accordingly, G.C.E.(OL) and G.C.E(AL) Examinations will be held  on reaching Grade 10 and Grade 12 respectively.

At the same time another recommendation made   states that all children completing 4 years should be educated under one syllabus in pre schools.

Above recommendations of the National Education Commission has been  forwarded to the President Maithripala Sirisena and the Prime Minister , Ranil Wickremasinghe.
