Introduction of  a Tax No to All Citizens  of Srilanka

Minister of Finance Mangala Samaraweera said, that a tax number will be introduced to each and every citizen in the country. He said this in response to a question raised by a journalist during a press conference held in the Finance Ministry.

As a country moving towards development, all holding tax numbers should pay the tax.

To increase the tax base, introduction of a tax number is very important, he stressed.
