Display of New Voters Register for Public View
The Election commission has announced that the new voters register will be displayed at Divisional Secretariats, Office of the Grama Sevakas and Office of the Provincial Councils as from tomorrow (10). Public can view this voters register and make their objections if names of inappropriate persons included in the register. Further, public can report to the Election Commission, if their names were not included in the voters register. Time space up to 8th September is given to make such representations to the election commission, Additional Election Commissioner M.M.Mohamed announced.
