Police Seeks Interpol Assistance to Arrest AAVA  Group Leader in Germany

Top rank police officers  operating  in the Northern Province  met the Chief Minister and discussed about security situation in the Northern Province  yesterday(15) .  At this  discussion the Chief Minister has disclosed to the police officers that the AAVA group  operating in the North  is directed and funded  by a leader domiciled  in Germany .

Based on this information, the police has sought Interpol assistance to arrest him and deport  him to Srilanka. Steps have been taken at Government to Government level  to get him down to Srilanka.
