UNP conspires to grab power of NWP council

 

A senior politician of the Kurunegala district stated that the UNP is preparing to grab power of the North Western Provincial Council after the general election.

He stated that the UNP needs only the support of 6 UPFA councilors to grab power of the North Western Provincial Council.

He also said that 4 UPFA North Western Provincial Councilors are now scheduled to join UNP election campaign rallies to be held with the participation of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in Kurunegala.

The senior politician stated that support of another two councilors could be obtained after the election in order to change power of the North Western Provincial Council.
