On arrival Acting Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs and Acting Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Alice Wells, yesterday called on President Maithripala Sirisena.

She is scheduled to meet  the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Temple Trees today.

Alice Wells will be participating in the Indian Ocean’s Conference in Colombo today and is scheduled to deliver a special lecture at the conference.
