New North Western Sports Minister Appointed

North Western Province Councillor Piyasiri Ramanayake has been sworn in as the new Sports Minister of the North Western Province, a short while ago.

Ramanayake  is replacing Sandhya Kumara Rajapaksha, who was removed by the President  from the post of North Western Province Minister of Education, Cultural and Arts, Sports and Youth Affairs and Information Technology .

He took oath before the Governor of the North Western Province Amara Piyaseeli Ratnayake at the President’s House in the presence of President Maithripala Sirisena.
