Army’s  Arrogant Approach Police at Receiving End?

On Saturday (7) night, while  Chief Inspector of the VIPs was on duty at the Malalasekera Police check point, he was informed  that some people are staying and singing songs near the check point and he was asked to stop it.

The time was around 7pm. He went to the spot and found that a police officer,some high ranking army officers and few Navy men were drunk and singing songs.He requested them to stop singing and went back to his duty point.

After sometime a person entered his room and attacked him mercilessly and bitten his ear.

Wounded Chief Police Inspector is now getting treatment at Narahenpita  Hospital. A Colombo news wing has revealed that already police investigation has commenced in this connection,
