One Killed in Motorcycle  &  Lorry  Collision

 Arachikattuwa Police officials reported that one person was killed following a collision between a motorcycle and a lorry travelling near the Palliya junction in Arachikattuwa this morning (24).

The a 35-year old  motorcyclist resident of Udappuwa , who sustained  injuries was admitted to the Halawatha hospital after , which he was transferred to the Colombo General hospital,  where he was pronounced dead following emergency treatment.

The driver of the lorry was detained by the Arachikattuwa Police.

Further investigations are carried out  by  police.
