Sri Lanka Marxist party release election manifesto today

Sri Lanka’s Marxist party, Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna this morning released their election manifesto that would in detail present the party’s plan for the country.

The manifesto under the title “The agreement of the self-consciousness” (Herda Shakshiye Sammuthiya) was released at a ceremony held in the Sugathadasa stadium in Colombo at 10:00 a.m. today.

The manifesto contains plans for the development of the country within the next five years under a rule of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna. Along with the manifesto the national programme will also be released.

The Western Provincial Council member K.D Lal Kantha said that arrangements have been made to hold a special national convention as well along with these activities.
