Weather Forecast For 10th November 2017

Due to the atmospheric disturbance in the southwest Bay of Bengal to the East of Sri Lanka, the showery conditionand cloudy skies are expectedin the Northern half of the island.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Northern, Eastern and North-central provinces.

Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere after 2.00 p.m.

Heavy falls (above 100 mm) can be expected at some places inthe Northern, Eastern and North-central provinces.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
