University Intake to be Increased by 20 %

Minister Mangala Samaraweera during his parliamentary address yesterday  (9), stated that the annual intake of university students will be increased by 20 % to provide better opportunities to all students of Sri Lanka.

Further he stated that the 2018 Budget will ensure that all school children will undergo 13 years of schooling. In addition  medical faculties will be established in the Wayamba, Sabaragamuwa and Moratuwa universities at a cost of Rs.1.2500 million.
