Bribery Commission Receives 506 Complaints

The Bribery Commission  received more than 506 complaints during the first quarter of 2017 and has forwarded them for investigations, it revealed in its annual performance report presented in Parliament.
The report stated that 121 complaints were received in January 96 in February and 289 in March and that of the cases that the Bribery Commission had filed, 99 were pending in the Magistrate’s Court, 306 in the High Court with only six cases being finalized by March 2017.
All investigations on allegations of bribery and corruption are investigated by the Investigation Division.
