President to Meet Party Leaders of UPFA Tomorrow

The President Maithripala  Sirisena as leader of the SLFP has called for an emergency meeting of other UPFA coalition members tomorrow (9) at 11.30 am. This meeting is scheduled to be held at the Presidential Palace. Meeting will be followed by lunch.

Two representatives from each constituent political parties are invited for this meeting. As the local government election date is closer, President is expected to spell out the strategy to be adopted to win the election with the coalition partners. Further, the discussion will also consider steps to be taken on offences committed by Mahinda faction, sources said.
