Govt. Can’t Hide From the People Whatever They Do – Mahinda

Our next struggle is to pressurize the government to conduct deferred Provincial Council Elections . Provincial Council Elections for  period expired  North Central, Sabragamuwa and Eastern Provincial Council’s  in the year 2017  were not conducted  despite 6 months have passed.

Further the period of North and North Western Provincial Councils  will expire in  next few months. Hence, we request the government to take steps to conduct Provincial Council elections without further delaying them.

 Although the government is attempting to hide issues from the people , they can’t do that in future, said Mahinda Rajapaksa.
