Cost of living committee will meet in the Finance Ministry today (27). They will decide the increase in price of cooking gas and milk powder.
The cooking gas manufacturers have requested the government to increase the price of cooking gas by 270 rupees. However, in last week’s meeting of cost of living committee, they considered a price increase of cooking gas by 175 rupees. However, the final decision was not reached then.
Meanwhile, the milk Importers Federation too has requested the government to increase the milk prices.
Hence, a decision on price increase of cooking gas and milk food is expected to take in today’s meeting of the cost of living committee.
