Discussion at Temple Trees Regarding Relief to Disaster Victims

A meeting was called at the Temple Trees yesterday (21) to consider granting relief to people affected by the unusual inclement weather prevailing in the country. Seven persons killed and more than 13,000 said to have been badly affected by this inclement weather.
The Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe chaired this meeting and directed the tri forces to be in readiness to assist people in rescue operations. Several other decisions were also taken to grant relief to victims.
